The Supreme Court shall consist of a Chief Justice to be known as the Chief Justice ^[1] of Pakistan and so many other Judges as may be determined by Act of or, until so determi^[2] ned, as may be fixed by the President 1[:]
Provided that and notwithstanding anything contained in the Constitution, the incumbent Chief Justice shall be and continue to be known as the Chief Justice of Pakistan during his term in office.
