amendment[1]the Revival of the Constitution of 1973 Order, 1985 (P.O. No. 14 of 1985), Art.2 and Sch. 2 Subs. and ins. by the Constitution (Twentieth Amendment) Act, 2012 (Act No. V of 2012), s. 10. countermand the poll and report the fact to the Chief Election Commissioner, and all proceedings with reference to the election shall be commenced a new in all respects as if for a new election: Provided that no further nomination shall be necessary in the case of a candidate whose nomination was valid at the time of the countermanding of the poll: Provided further that no person who has under paragraph 6 of this Schedule given notice of withdrawal of his candidature before the countermanding of the poll shall be ineligible for being nominated as a candidate for the election after such countermanding.↩
