Section 546A
Order of payment of certain fees paid by complainant in non-cognizable cases.__
- Whenever any complaint of a non-cognizable offence is made to a Court, the Court, if it convicts the accused, may in addition to the penalty imposed upon him, order him to pay to the complainant__
- the fee (if any) paid on the petition of complaint or for the examination of the complainant, and
- any fees paid by the complainant for serving processes on his witnesses or on the accused,
- An order under this section may also be made by an Appellate Court, or by the High Court, when exercising its powers of revision.]
